Gratitude

08/04/2010

Few things will wake a person from hum drum whirr of life faster than suddenly being faced with what could have been. I have made so many good choices in my life and I credit my family, and espicially my Mom. These choices haven’t been easy ones. But the things I learned through the decisions I made have served me really well and softened me for the lessons I am open to now. I love the path I’m on, even though I am in a brand new place knowing very few people and no job. This is the beginning and I look forward to investing the time it will take to create a life in this new place. Over the past few months I have spent time with the people that I let shape my life and my views. Despite my efforts to be origional, I am usually most comfortable with the independent minded, socially entertaining, strong personality types like my brothers, and good listeners and empathetics like my mom. I, we have our issues, but you’ve never met a group of bigger hearted, honest folk. I love my family so much and am incredibly grateful for them. Eric – you have been an amazing confidant. I may put my own spin on things, but you have been my inspiration. Rob -I wouldn’t be the person I am without your helping to raise me and you remain the most steady of our Young family, Karen – thank you so much for your energy and constancy, the happiness you have brought to my family is emmense. Mom, what can I say – I am so lucky that you wanted me and stuck to it til I arrived. You continue to evolve and help me to do the same. We are a great team and always have been.
